Max and Bella's English Tea Party Themed Wedding // Austin, TX
I had the honor of flying down to Austin, TX to capture Max and Bella’s wedding on October 27. I had been looking forward to their wedding for so long and when it was finally happening I wanted to take it all in - Bella’s family ranch with the chickens running around, Bella’s mom helping her with the veil that’s been in the family for three generations, the vintage vases with flower arrangements by Bella’s mom and granny, Max’s tearful expression watching Bella walk down the aisle…so many intimate moments I was able to capture visually for them. Also, when Bella and I started planning her wedding she told me how her and Max met, and it’s too good not to share. So here’s the account from Bella herself:
“Max and I met in downtown Austin in January of 2016. He was up for a weekend to get away from the stresses of pilot training & I was having a girls weekend with my besties. We kept running into each other over the course of 2 days! I actually spotted him immediately but was too shy to talk to him. We eventually managed to connect and spent the next few hours chatting (our friends were soooo over it haha) and immediately clicked. I called my mum that same night and told her I had found my future husband! The rest is history :) Max's mum passed away when he was 13. I have the honor of wearing her ring!
It didn't take me long to realize I had totally fallen for Max! Three things in the first hour I met him stood out (and now there are a million other things I could list).
His "kind" eyes. Max has these big brown eyes that you can tell are just full of love, kindness, and compassion.
His love for Jesus! Max proudly wears his cross necklace and immediately I wanted to talk to him about my walk with God. We had a great conversation about faith that first night we met!
His curiosity. Max is so curious about everything. He loves to learn and loves to listen. He asks questions and takes it all in. I love that about him! We have GREAT in-depth chats!”
